Fossil Presents Hard & Soul Round ONE
Hard & Soul began modestly on Dec 21st, 1997 with Dj Star 80, with future resident Andy Roberts as a guest @ The Living Room 330 Adelaide St west, then managed by Twilight Zone luminaries Albert and Michael Assoon. With promotional Duties helmed by Gairy Brown, Jenn Star, and TBD, this weekly Sunday event evolved within months into one of the best weekly for House Music in the city for 4 years running.
During its 4 year run, Hard and Soul hosted a bevy of local talent alongside Residents Andy Roberts and Dj Nicole, including regular guests and eventual Co Residents Dino & Terry, Nick Holder, Stickmen, Allan Best, Kaje, John E, Luc Raymond to name a few.
Always a favorite stopover from the weekends international talent, H & S hosted such Djs as Mark Farina, Alton MIller, Dj Dove, DJ Romain, Benji Candelario, DJ Heather, J Dub, Kenny Carpenter, DJ Deep, Cajmere, Fred Everything and Honey Dijon.
Hard and Soul remained a staple of Toronto's house scene for 4 years, ending its run in October 2001.
