Since 2000 electronic music fans from across the globe have made the pilgrimage every May to Detroit—the city where Techno music was born—to experience performances by some of electronic music’s most recognizable names and the industry’s rising stars.

Movement Electronic Music Festival Powered by Ford Fiesta returns to Detroit May 29-31. The 36-hour dance party will feature nearly 100 artists performing on four stages at one of the world’s premier outdoor urban venues, Hart Plaza. Gates will open each day at noon and close every evening at midnight. Get your weekend passes today!

2010 marks the 10th anniversary of the electronic music festival in Detroit.

Last year was a banner year for the Movement Electronic Music Festival. More than 83,000 people from across Michigan, the United States, and abroad crowded into Hart Plaza for performances by the hottest artists performing a wide variety of electronic music genres.

Movement Electronic Music Festival was voted “Best Annual Event” by the Real Detroit Weekly reader’s survey in 2010. Metromix.com readers named the Movement Electronic Music Festival “Best Festival in 2009”. URB Magazine readers named Movement 2008 as its "Festival of the Year." Resident Advisor named Movement Electronic Music Festival as the number one festival in the world for the month of May in 2008 & 2007.
