BASSRUSH NORTH AMERICA TAKEOVER12TH PLANET12th Planet is the electronic music pioneer whose off-axis beats and subsonic frequencies orbit on the forefront of global bass culture. Recently named “Los Angeles dubstep god” by Rolling Stone, 12th Planet AKA John Dadzie and his influential label SMOG Records are widely credited for bringing the British movement stateside, and continue to be a crucial force in the evolution of electronic music. 12th Planet's DJ sets now include a myriad of styles that reflect the current, diverse landscape of EDM music and continue to display his role as an essential tastemaker in the dance music world.
When the two worlds of electronic music DJs/producers Kenny Beats (aka Kenneth Blume) and Ryan Marks collided in 2009, something magical happened. Call it a conundrum or rather simply a matter of fate... This dynamic duo is best known as LOUDPVCK. They met at the Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) and started producing tracks together - dropped ‘em on Soundcloud and nearly that moment became an overnight sensation. Since then, the buzz and hype about LOUDPVCK has only continued to grow. The doors have been swinging wide open; a remix for NERVO (Hold On), getting added to the Deckstar Management roster, receiving serious playtime on BBC Radio One, not to mention - getting lots o’ love and support from the likes of: Skrillex, A-Trak, Dillon Francis, Zeds Dead, Danny Brown, 12th Planet, Adventure Club, Flosstradamus, Baauer, UZ, DJ Carnage, AC Slater, DJ CRAZE, Bro Safari, Brillz and Paper Diamond to name a “few”...
A multi-faceted electronic producer, Kove has set the internet and radio stations alight with his remixes of Foxes ‘Holding On To Heaven’, John Newman's 'Love Me Again’ and Bastille’s ‘Of the Night’, demonstrating his versatility to flip between genres and his ever rising stature.
With two national US Tours under his belt alongside Netsky and 12th Planet, and another jam packed summer scheduled for some of the biggest dance music festivals across Europe (Hideout, EXIT, Creamfields, Reading and Leeds), Kove is set for a massive 2015.
