NextAid FOR THE FUTURE 13hr Benefit - David Harness, Halo, Moniker PLUS
Join the Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization, NextAid, and members
of the San Francisco house music community in the sixth annual benefit
for children affected by AIDS in Africa at Café Cocomo. “For the
Future” draws from some of the major DJ crews in the city including Om
Records, Sunset/PacificSound, Green Gorilla, thePeople Oakland, Stap[e,
Forward and [Kontrol], bringing together an incredible group of 15 DJ’s
for 13-hours to share their music, spread the word, garner hope, and
raise funds NextAid’s sustainable projects in Kenya, South Africa and
Sierra Leone. The “mega- benefit” will take place on Sunday, August 1st
at the beautiful indoor/outdoor venue, Café Cocomo, 650 Indiana Street
in San Francisco from 1:00am to 2:00am. Cover charges are $10 b4 2pm,
$15 after at the door and $10 pre-sale tickets at

Benefit-goers
should arrive early for a special 3 hour (2-5) CityDeep session with
Halo, David Harness, and Brendon Boden, and stay late for a DJ set with
Moniker. Local favorites playing throughout the day include Adnan,
Cali, Chris Smith, Fil Latorre, Galen, M3, Marissa Guzman (live
vocals), Michael Anthony, Miss Watkins & DJ 4AM, Sammy D, MC Foxy
Brown, and Solar. Supporters include: Green Gorilla, Stap[e, Forward
